         There are numerous monetary incentives to help people make their homes more energy efficient.  We compiled this list of incentives that can help the residents of the Greater New Orleans area make their homes more comfortable, energy efficient, and safe.  This compilation is intended to help people gain awareness of the programs that may be beneficial to their goals.  Rebirth Energy Solutions LLC is not qualified to help people with tax or financial advice.  Before making plans dependant on energy incentive programs, RES strongly advises homeowners to consult a tax professional.  With this understanding, our services can help to qualify your home for numerous energy-efficiency programs.  For these programs we will do everything within our power to help you meet your goals.

• Home Energy Rebate Option (HERO) Program- up to a $3,000 cash rebate for energy efficient improvements to new and existing homes in Louisiana
• Residential Energy Efficiency Tax Credit – Federal tax credit up to $1500 for water heaters, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, building insulation, windows, doors, and roofs.
• Entergy New Orleans Residential Solutions Program-discounts for energy audits and rebates for insulation, home and duct system air sealing, and air conditioners
• Entergy New Orleans New Home Program-  up to $375 for building to a high standard of efficiency
• Energy-Efficient New Homes Tax Credit for Home Builders- homes qualify for a $2,000 credit if they reduce heating and cooling energy consumption by 50% relative to the International Energy Conservation Code standard and meet minimum efficiency standards established by the Department of Energy (currently inactive- program extension pending).
• Database of State Incentives for Renewables and Efficiency - DSIRE is a comprehensive source of information on state, local, utility, and federal incentives and policies that promote renewable energy and energy efficiency.
